The pumpkin spice cookies make a great dessert, especially if you don’t want to eat all the pumpkin!
These pumpkin spice doughs are so simple to make.
They are best eaten in the morning before the holidays.
You can freeze the cookies for later use.
To make these pumpkin doughs, combine the milk, water, butter, and salt in a medium bowl.
Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon to the milk mixture and mix.
If the mixture is too dry, add more milk and mix until it is well combined.
After the dough is well mixed, place the dough balls on a floured surface, using your hands to make sure they are flat.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
Do not overbake.
Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
Ingredients 1 cup milk 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice 1 teaspoon salt Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Pour the milk into a medium saucepan and heat until hot.
Bring the milk to a boil and cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
The milk will begin to thicken.
Allow the milk sauce to cool.
Spread the pumpkin pie spices on a baking tray.
Make a hole in the bottom of the baking tray with the pumpkin spice mixture.
Fill the holes with the milk and bake for 10-15 more minutes.
Cool completely before serving!
